Adam
is in his twenties and is a farmer from New Zealand. Currently in
London he is a tree surgeon.
Why
did you work with Ben, what were your goals and what had you tried
before?
I
decided to take the course because I wanted to learn about what
nutrition was really healthy for my body and also how to get the
most from weight training.
My
goal was to lose weight and ultimately have a six pack. I always
wanted one and I am not getting any younger. I also needed more
energy in day to day life.
I've always had a healthy appetite and had unsuccessfully tried
calorie restrictive diets but was often hungry, had very short term
losses and didn't lose a lot of fat.
How
did you find the experience?
I liked
the way the programme was tailored to my individual needs and
this was fine tuned as time progressed. This raised my level of
self
awareness and ensured good results. With the metabolic typing diet
I really noticed when I got the balance right as energy levels improved,
there was not the need to eat so much
yet I still felt full and contented
Throughout
the programme (and afterwards) Ben has always been available and
supportive, with a very enthusiastic attitude that made the information
quite accessible and easy to interpret. His training guides moved
me off certain plateau's that i had reached and have helped build
the foundations to recognize when i'm getting stale and how to progress
further.
What
results did you get?
I
lost 8kg of fat in 6 weeks and stayed trim after finishing the programme.
I went home to New Zealand for a wedding where people had not seen
me for 18 months and most people commented on how good I looked
I noticed
how my energy and skin improved. I found my food cravings disappeared
and I was less grumpy! My sleeping habits also improved.
Overall
I found the course to be very productive, value for money and would
recommend it to everyone. I now have the skills to progress my health
and fitness long term.
