is 28 and lives in Conwy, North Wales. He is Deputy Manager of a
youth hostel.
Why
did you work with Ben, what were your goals and what had you tried
before?
I have
known Ben since I was small, we went to school together. Over the
last 10 years he would always inspire me to go on a health drive
when he came home for the weekend. As
we live opposite ends of the country now I would always end up back
at square one.
I
have tried many times in the past to lose weight usually focusing
on mostly exercise.
I used
to lose weight but when my exercise dropped off due to work commitments
I used to pile it back on.
When
Ben launched his new online course I jumped at the opportunity to
get myself into shape once and for all.
I knew
he had been studying and researching the best possible way to lose
weight and keep it off for good.
My
goal was to get down to 13 and half stone while learning to control
my body and food cravings. I wanted to fit into a 34" pair
of jeans and most importantly I wanted to feel as good about the
person in the mirror as I do on the inside.
How
did you find the experience?
I
loved the course. Learning what was healthy for me was surprising
as you are told so much in the media which is not right for you.
I realized that much of this is just mis-information. I found the
exercise routines changed the way I approached my training and made
it a lot more interesting.
The
emotional freedom technique (EFT) seemed a bit crazy. Ben pointed
out that as I had been overweight since I was 10 so I had to look
at the mental component if I wanted to be successful long term.
I thought it seems daft but heck I will give it a go.
I liked
the audio recordings of the information sheets, It meant I could
listen again and again so I truly understood the information.
What
results did you get?
I am
really happy with my results, so far I have lost nearly 2 stone,
(12 KG). I am now 2 jeans sizes smaller. To this I have controlled
my food cravings and reduced my caffeine and salt intake to almost
zero.
My
confidence has improved thanks to the EFT, still can’t believe
it works! My fitness and training is going great and I am getting
into the best shape of my life.
I am
looking
to lose another stone and I currently still losing weight. I see
no reason why I cannot achieve my goals as these techniques are
healthy, manageable and sensible to my lifestyle.
