Why
did you work with Ben, what were your goals and what had you tried
before?
I
had been feeling more and more tired until it came to the point
where I felt burnt out. There were days I could hardly get out of
bed, lift the kettle or walk up a flight of stairs. There were times
I felt on the brink of collapse. I was feeling very stressed by
the whole situation. My GP thought I was suffering from depression.
A
friend had already been through the course and recommended that
I should do it. I liked the structure and had heard metabolic typing
to be powerful so decided to give it a go.
How
did you find the experience?
I really
enjoyed the course. It was a great learning experience. Each time
Ben sent through some information I found that I had a new tool,
and felt the benefits very quickly.
All
the skills given to you play a part in improving your well being;
the change of diet and EFT being just two examples. Ben also got
me doing resistance training which I had not done in a long, long
time. If ever I had any questions Ben was on hand
What
results did you get?
My
body and mind responded very quickly. I felt progress straight away.
Of course there were days when I did not feel so great but I was
able to deal with this because I no longer viewed minor setbacks
as the end of the world.
The
resistance training has been very beneficial. But you don’t
just learn about diet, aerobic exercise and resistance training.
You also learn about stretching, breathing, relaxing and other things;
every facet of the course has a role.
I am
nearly back into what I would call my full training routine. Not
only that, I’ve realised that I can actually get stronger
and fitter than I was before (not a bad attitude to instill in a
bloke of 40).
The
course has shown me many things including; how to eat properly for
my body type, how to relax and recover more effectively from training
and general day-to-day strain, how to deal with stress, how to train
properly and get results! I could go on but there’s probably
no need.
Psychologically
I feel better than I can remember. For the first time in ages I
feel optimistic about the future and look forward to things, and
tend not to worry so much about stuff.
“Before
the course I found myself on the brink of collapse. Now I find myself
for the first time in ages optimistic about the future. I
am nearly back to my full training routine!”
