Looking back at my data over the last year I have done 256 gym sessions, which averages 5 per week. Some sessions were great, others were just token workouts to clear the mind. Either way, this was easy as I love gyms, always have and always will.
However, most people hate them. The great news is that you do not need to use a gym to get results. Since 2011 I have been working outside in parks, mostly Battersea Park and have helped many people get great results. 
You do not need to use a gym to get results. There is a misconception that you need actual metal weights to do resistance training. The reality is you already have a weight, your body! I made a video about some really challenging exercises you can do without using a gym or weights. It was for Rugby players and how to prepare for matches if no access to a gym. You do no need to be a rugby player to enjoy the benefits whatever your goal.
The video looks at how to use exercises for different training goals. Athletes use training phases, e.g. muscle building, strength phase, power training. This is to match the demands of the sport. While you may not be a rugby player you can take and use athletic training principles to apply to your fitness routine. It makes it more fun and effective
