Let
me tell you about how I got here and about my main beliefs, goals
and qualifications. I believe that everybody is entitled to be in
great health and achieve all their goals in life, be them health
related or personal goals.
It
is my aim to help people on their journey to good health and in
achieving their dreams. I aim to do this by teaching you the most
powerful methods and techniques available. I will cut through the
confusion and contradiction you are subjected to on a daily basis.
What
drives me today is the product of what happened in my life so far.
I must start with the story of my health. I was one of those children
who was always ill, always had problems, I had asthma, allergies,
blocked sinus’s. You name it I had it. My asthma and allergies
continued into adulthood. They improved as I ate a ‘healthy’
diet but still they remained. It was then that I came across metabolic
typing, which changed the way I would ever view my health again.
Reading
the theory the penny dropped and it just summed up my life story.
I was looking at health from the wrong end and wrong perspective.
I had asthma, so the solution was to take a blue spray when it appeared.
This never answered my questions, why did it appear sometimes?...why
was it worse some days than others? What is the cause?
I felt
great excitement reading the potential of your bodies ability to
heal itself if given the right nutrients and it is still as strong
today as it was then. It stated that to tackle any health complaint
or to lose weight it should be done from treating the underlying
cause, which is the body receiving inadequate amounts of the nutrients
it needs.
I underwent
the metabolic typing analysis and I never have touched an asthma
spray again, my energy, which was already high, bounced through
the roof and I became more productive, efficient and focused.
The
results I got from my training improved and the startling effect
nutrition has on everything we do became clear to me. From that
day on I became a messenger for the truth behind nutrition.
Another
error I made that drives me still today was the fact I trained for
two years, maybe three years in the gym but made very little if
any improvement. Two years of effort and I was not much fitter,
stronger or bigger than when I started. In my search for the solution
I came across the theory of Periodization, the art of designing
training programmes and how to vary what you do to optimize gains,
maintain motivation and avoid injury. If only I knew this before
I thought and I used this motivation as the driving force behind
writing the book Rugby
fitness training :A twelve month conditioning programme,
The final major influence upon how I seek to educate people today
was the frustration I had with some clients I trained. Using metabolic
typing I knew I could guarantee that everyone achieves their results.
However, I still found there was a certain portion of people who
could not stick to the healthy living routine.
It
was because there mind was not in the right place and something
was holding them back, I found they suffered from self sabotage,
procrastination amongst other things which stopped them from achieving
success.
The
solution to this lead me to learning about EFT,
emotional freedom technique, amongst other techniques. This
allows me to now delve into the mental process behind achieving
your goals and thus cover all angles need for success.
Today
I am solely focused on spreading the word and increasing my ability
to help those people I work with. I am continually striving to increase
my knowledge and skills in order to help my clients further.
I
hope to make my online One2one
nutrition lifestyle course and face
to face personal training the most successful and popular courses
of their kind.
