Daily Motivation Tips – Shouldn’t I be Feeling Good?
When it comes to getting results many people go wrong when it comes to how they are feeling. One of the things you will notice when you cut out a sensitive food is that instead of immediately feeling great you actually feel awful. This is quite common as a natural side effect of detoxification. When you give your body a break from the daily grind of smashing it with awful foods (even though you may think these foods are ‘healthy’) you will find you have the energy to restore your health. When this happens your body will boot out a lot of rubbish and during this time you feel below par.
If the symptoms are severe then you should reintroduce the eliminated foods and go into it more gradually. If they persist always go see your doctor of course but for the large part they are just a temporary issue.
Once you are past the initial few detoxing days where you may feel irritable, low energy, flu like, weak, tired amongst others possible signs you should then be able to go about putting in place a long term plan that works.
For any plan to work you have to feel good energy after eating, be free from hunger, free from food cravings and enjoy great mental clarification. This is the test of whether a diet works for you. For almost the whole of the population they do not get these when they are following their current diet. Yet still no one listens to those warning signs because it has just become the accepted norm. The aim of the programme should be to break this.
To do this you need to start observing your food reactions post eating. Go to the page below and download the form to use after meals. Every time you have a negative reaction you need to return to the meal and adjust the ratios of protein:carbs:fat until you get positive reactions.
If you are controlled by hunger then this is easy, because you can set your stop watch. If you are not then you will need to get into the energy and mental concentration reactions.
A point to note – YOU SHOULD NOT FEEL LOW ENERGY, HUNGER, CRAVINGS, POOR CONCENTRATION during any long term plan to get results.

- How do you feel after eating on your current nutrition plan?
- Look to adjust your foods and tune into what improves your health traits such as hunger, bloating, energy etc.
- If you have eliminated a food during these adjustments be aware of detox symptoms initially making you feel worse.
