Behaviours That Separate Great From Average Results

People in great shape do things differently to the average person. This is why they are in better shape and by definition are not just the average guy in the street or gym. See if you do some of these things that people in great shape do –

Detox and elimination periods during the year –

It is human nature to drop off and stop doing all of the good behaviours that produce results. This is why a few times a year most people in amazing shape drop into some sort of elimination protocol to reset their eating habits and raise the bar again.

Normal people do a token elimination every New Year then eat the same foods and put the same amount of toxins into the body each day until the following January.

Change their training plan monthly –

It is taken as given to be in amazing shape you exercise regularly and consistently. To this it is understood that any training plan stagnates after one month and thus the plan is adapted to continue to produce gains from the fitness.

Normal people do no exercise at all, for those that do they rarely change their plan let alone monthly. The result is the body gets bored and then the mind follows behind it. At this point they often drop out of exercise.

Rotate their foods –

The more you consume anything the more likely it will irritate your body after a period of time. So to this point supplements are cycled in and out of the diet, foods are removed for periods of time. Ideally every single food you eat (and related foods) will at some point get rotated out of the diet just to give your body a break every few months.

Most people have the same food for breakfast and lunch pretty much every day and evening dinner is about one of three options. When the whole day is reviewed you will often find the same food group has been eaten all day (e.g. cereal-bread-pasta). This leads to food sensitivities and problems achieving results.

Hang out with other people in great shape –

Getting into amazing shape is no easy task. Those that are successful recognize this and look for support. They hang out with similar minded people either to train or socialize. It is surprising for the average person to see how many people in amazing shape use some sort of coach or trainer to help them with their goals. It shouldn’t be of surprise because every professional athlete in the world has a coach so why wouldn’t a body athlete.

The average person spends all of their time with people who share the same or even less effective beliefs around health and fitness. This makes it really hard to get motivated for results. They often see using a coach or trainer a sign of weakness and avoid doing it.
